My new favorite salad, inspired by Whole Foods (how much do I sound like a damn hippie?!?).
Garlicky Kale Salad
1 bunch kale
1 garlic clove
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons olive oil
juice of 1 lemon
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup sliced almonds
Remove the tough stems from the kale and slice leaves into 1/4 inch pieces and place in a bowl.
