I am so tired. So. Tired. My routine, as of late: 6 AM - Wake up. Shower (optional). 6:30 AM - Begin working on projects. A cookbook (not mine, someone elses. But still, I’m REALLY excited about it!), wedding invitations, menu edits… the list goes on. 8 AM - Finish getting ready in haste. 8:15 AM - Ride bike to work (about 7 miles). 9 AM - Arrive at work. Work, work, work. 6...

I don’t normally like to post lesser-quality photos on here. You wouldn’t believe all the things I bake that are frankly just too ugly to share with the world. Today I am going to make an exception to that rule.  These pancakes kick ass. My boyfriend told me they were the best pancakes he’d ever had. That’s a lot coming from him, and even more significant that he said it...

I wanted to share my latest wedding beauty. This one is a guestbook print for Daniella and Dan who are getting married in one month exactly.  The idea is that the guests sign their names on the place where they’re from. I finally tore up my garden in order to get it ready for some fall planting. I didn’t yield much this year. Actually it was incredibly disappointing. However, I did get to dig up all my little potatoes, and I was completely satisfied with all my sweet little purple and gold spuds. Maybe I’ll make a frittata?

It’s been a long, busy week. I started the new job this week. And yes. I LOVE IT! The people who work there are awesome: creative, fun and friendly. And I feel like my skills are finally being put to good use. It’s a good feeling.  So, naturally, I wanted to make a breakfast this week that was well rounded, to help me get my day off to a great start. Inspired by my new bible (Good to...

Salted Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies. I needed something truly wonderful to take into work, to give to my coworkers on my very last day working there. I needed a way to let them know that working with them has been an absolutely incredible blessing. That it has made the last year and a half fun and entertaining. And that I appreciate every ounce of support they have given me in my...
